My uncle Hank Gobin has moved on in his journey to the other side. I’m proud to be Tulalip. I’m proud to be sduhubsh. I’m proud to be a Gobin. I’m blessed to have been raised with a family who values cultural teachings and strives to keep them alive. I believe it is what keeps us alive.
I am so excited!!! The canoes have been brought out and washed! Tonight we go out on the water. Do you know how every year we put them away at winter and I dream about pulling all winter long! Being on the water is where my spirit soars.
